Description
Overview:
Insulating unions are generally installed above ground to proved electrical isolation for well heads, regulator stations, processing plants, gauge lines, fuel supply lines, water lines, and other pipeline applications.
Insulating unions are available for high and low pressure applications and comprise two flanged bodies, one of which is screwed onto the end of each of the pipes to be joined, one flanged end is externally threaded and the joint is completed by a nut which is isolated from one of the flanged ends through the use of dielectric materials.
