MMO Tubular Anodes are high quality, economical anodes ideal for use in soils, fresh water, brackish water and seawater.
The MMO coating consists of IrO2/Ta2O5 and is suitable for use in all cathodic protection applications.
MMO anodes and cable tail connections carry a 10-year Anode Engineering warranty.
Connections are fully encapsulated and resistance tested. PE/Nylon/PE cable is ideally suited to Australian service conditions; PE is generally tougher than PVC, more resistant to chlorine/acid attack and, in conjunction with Nylon, gives good Termite resistance. Anodes are provided with a heat shrink cable guard to protect against nascent chlorine gas damage to the cable/anode interface.
