Australasian Corrosion Association’s 2016 Conference
Anode Engineering has been attending the Australasian Corrosion Association’s annual conference for the past 14 years, while Technical Director, Wayne Burns,
has been attending for over 40 years.
With Lordco, Anode’s New Zealand based subsidiary, Anode was able to make many new friends, establish business contacts and showcase the latest in Cathodic protection systems and services along with a multitude of other related engineering systems.
Of particular interest is the latest Tinker and Rasor interrupter and data-logging equipment (https://www.anodeengineering.c
These field-ready products are used extensively throughout Australasia.
Jeffrey Robinson, Lordco’s Auckland based representative, highlighted the Jios aerogel insulating wrap, designed to eliminate Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
Through its patented micro insulating chemistry it is able to maintain a heat loss performance whilst limiting moisture ingress and enhance moisture loss.
Anode Engineering and Lordco are heavily involved in the ACA at board, committee and council level, presenting talks and chairing sessions.
The conference was an opportunity to enhance this legacy and grow our network of friends in the industry.
