Description
Overview:
Insulated reducing couping for steel to cast/ductile.
Style 39-62 is a combination insulating and reducing coupling. It is
most widely used where cast-iron and steel pipe are joined in a system.
It eliminates corrosion problems created by joining dissimilar metal
structures. The insulating gasket is typically furnished on the larger
end for cast iron. A plastic boot insulating sleeve prevents pipe-end
contact with the middle ring and a slider spacer separates the pipe
ends.
